Capita Enabler offers a unique aggregated general insurance service
Capita today announced that it is now offering an unrivalled aggregated general insurance service to intermediaries by linking the products and services of two Capita companies, Webline, its adviser portal, and BDML, its general insurance aggregation service. This is a further development of the Capita Enabler programme which is delivering a fully integrated advisor desktop and support of a broad range of retail financial services products – benefiting advisers, distributors, providers and their customers alike.
Intermediaries can now use Webline to obtain directly comparable household insurance quotations from BDML’s panel of the UK’s top household insurers2. Common policy wording ensures that they can compare ‘like-for-like’ building and contents insurance policies from a wide panel of underwriters. The confirmed panel for intermediary business stands at nine insurers and plans are to grow this number to encompass BDML’s full compliment of 14 insurers in the coming weeks. Additionally this service not only offers complete online fulfilment facilities with electronic signatures and a direct debit capability, but all insurance policies are re-broked annually automatically against BDML’s panel, resulting in high retention rates.
Capita Enabler’s extended offering in the general insurance market will not only help expand an adviser’s portfolio of services, but in doing so, will generate a significant income stream. Figures show that intermediaries could earn an additional £2,5001 per annum year one, £4,500 per annum year two, £6,100 per annum year three.
